ABOUT Jamie Schmidt

Jaime is the founder of Schmidt’s Naturals, which she grew from her kitchen into a household name, lining the shelves of major retailers across 30 countries. In 2017, Schmidt’s was acquired by CPG giant Unilever. She is author of the book Supermaker: Crafting Business on Your Own Terms, a memoir and guide for helping other founders get their businesses on the map.

Today, Jaime is an investor and co-owner of Color Capital, a fund that invests in consumer products and emerging technologies.

She is a pickleball enthusiast and minority owner of the Los Angeles Mad Drops major league team. She sits on the board of Pickleball for Good Fund, and is also an investor in Major League Pickleball (MLP) and the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA).

Topic that would bring value to audience, something I wish I was asked about more often:

“When your identity/purpose changes - for example, my journey as an entrepreneur & entrepreneurial influencer/inspiration to others… how that has morphed & expanded and plays into pickleball being my primary focus today; the challenges and opportunities with this.”-Jaime

10/28/24 NOTE: Jaime said, “Since pickleball’s become significant part of my life now, both personally and professionally, I’d be open to talking a little about that, too.”
